Marc McClendon

Marc McClendon from Fairway Independent Mortgage in DFW is committed to taking great care of people who are looking to purchase or refinance a home. Marc has been in the mortgage industry since 2002.

Marc was born and raised in Livingston, TX. After graduating from Baylor University (ˈ97), he moved to Denver for a year and then to Dallas. He also graduated from SMU with an MBA in 2006. Marc has a broad banking background with past experience in financial advising, commercial lending, private banking and construction and home loan origination.

Marc loves to spend time with his family while also serving the community and his church. Marc is a member at his local church and his team, Marc & Mark, is involved in community service in Dallas through Brother Bill’s Helping Hand and Mercy Street in west Dallas. A portion of the proceeds from loans closed with Marc & Mark go toward Seed Effect, a non-profit organization helping families in South Sudan create businesses to overcome abject poverty. He resides in north Dallas with his wife Allison and two daughters, Mollie Kate and Jenna.

Marc has a strong reputation as a competent, ethical and service-oriented banker with a passion for serving his clients in one of the most important transactions they will navigate through in their lifetime. He enjoys being a mortgage banker because he has a calling and a passion to serve others by using his experience and unique skill set to provide speed, service, and customized home loan solutions to his clients and business partners. Marc has a heart to put clients in the best possible financial position by taking the proper time and providing them all the information they need and deserve to make an informed decision. He realizes that the home loan process is becoming more complicated, and values the client enough to take the time to meet them face to face and educate them on all the facets pertaining to the home loan process and their specific financial needs.
